Hey Guys, Happy Tuesday!

This week is really important to me because I am embarking on not only a new job but a completely new career. While the excitement and nervousness around both of these events is starting to build up, the real issue at hand is… What am I going to Wear????

Do not judge me 😉 but this whole weekend I have been dreaming up ideas of the perfect outfits for my first week. My initial thought was to just wear my favorite outfits over, which at some point I’m sure I will do, but then I thought you don’t know the culture of this office and what if your red pants and Leopard peplum blouse are a bit too much. So what’s a girl to do when you’re staring at a closet full of clothes but unsure of what choice to go with? Well she goes through her archive of past photographed outfits and sees what she’s already done and how she can revamp her go-to looks.

Below are a few of my favorite outfits and pieces (see Burgundy pants on repeat) that I resort too on a regular basis. Unfortunately, they are selfies but I promise from now on I will take better quality pictures ;).

So thats just a snap shot of my personal style when it comes to work wear. I like to keep it professional but fun. I hate when people suggest that work wear guidelines means you can’t express yourself. Business casual might not allow jeans on Tuesday but it doesn’t mean that you have to be in a box either. I use color, pattern, and shoes to give my 9-5 wardrobe creative life & I really believe that anybody in corporate America can do the same.
