Okay!!! Briana here again and boy am I excited to talk beauty with you guys! I know you’re thinking “why should we listen to this girl”? Well, I have been working at sephora for 4 years and have learned so much about makeup, skincare, beauty and how women want to feel. I have been blessed to start as a clueless sales girl to being able to give full make overs and most importantly, helping women feel gorgeous and confident in their skin. ^_^ For my first post, I want to share some of the awesome products I like and use daily.

1. Beauty Blender
Upon first working at sephora, I wanted to buy everything in order to look like the amaze ball girls I work with (they are all seriously camera ready all the time). I brought brushes in order to apply my makeup and didn’t realize until 2013 that I was using the wrong, I repeat, WRONG TOOL to apply my foundation and concealer. With enlarged pores and very oily skin, as many women have, I absolutely fell in love with this tool. Not only does it perfectly fill in my pores and give me a flawless, airbrush application but leaves me feeling as if I have nothing on my face. Seriously singing, “I was born this way”. It’s only $20, yeah I know your saying “20 bucks for a sponge”, but I have tried the cheaper sponges and they don’t do what it do baby.
Sephora :: $19.95
2. Perricone MD C15
So my skin has gone through a world wind of flawless, to breakouts, to allergy to yogurt and me feeling the ugliest ever, to I feel pretty again. One product that has helped my acne scars, dark spots, and any other spot is Perricone Vitamin C Ester. The main ingredient of this product is Vitamin C and while a little pricey, worth every penny you spend. It will get rid of any and all unwanted pigmentations on your face. I apply it in the morning and night and I am amazed at how much my skin has and continued to improve. It is a best seller and top rated in my book.
Sephora :: $120.00
3. Smashbox Full Exposure Pallette
SMASHBOX just recently came out with their new Full Exposure Eyeshadow Palette and at first I was skeptical. So much sparkle & only one satin color and the rest mattes. I wasn’t sure if I was going to truly like it, but when I received this palette as gratis (aka free stuff I get from my job) I did not complain. The mattes have great pigment, even on darker skin like mine, and the shimmer shadows are great when used wet. The one satin color brightens the eye tremendously and this 14 color palette is one to add to any palette collection. And did I mention it comes with a mini Full Exposure mascara, a double ended brush specific for the mattes & shimmers? Awww yeah
Sephora :: $49.00
4. Boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge
May I present to you the Konjac (con-jack) Cleansing Sponge. I don’t even know what this sponge is made of but when I tell you it cleanses my face like none other, I mean it. One imperative rule that I beg you to start practicing is to STOP CLEANING YOUR FACE WITH YOUR HANDS! When I tell you even if u start using a brush or sponge from Walmart, you will automatically see a difference in your skin and how much cleaner, softer and smoother it feels. Sephora states that “the efficient Boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge is made from 100% preservative free Konjac root from the pristine, idyllic Jeju island in Korea.” I have no idea what that means, but I will tell Korea knows it’s roots and skincare. It’s $18, you can use any cleanser with it, and I am telling you if you do not want to splurge on buying a Clarisonic, this is the next best product For Sure!
Sephora :: $18.00
5. Sephora Lip & Eyeliners
Lastly, I have got to tell you ladies, ya gotta stop sleeping on Sephora Brand. Women come into my store buying $18 eyeliners from Urban Decay and $20-$30 lipsticks from Dior and Marc Jacobs and I ask them “have you ever tried sephora brand”? They look at me like I’m a mutant and firmly believe that Sephora brand sucks. Well, you’re wrong. Sephora’s best selling products are their lip products and eyeliners, I kid you not. Sephora brand’s new Contour 12hr waterproof eyeliner, which is TEN DOLLARS (yes you can read this as if I’m yelling) works just as good, maybe better, than any eyeliner in the entire store! They offer 35 different colors to chose from and they are smudge proof, water proof, and bullet proof! The lip products are just the same. Offering more than 50 different satin shades to choose from and that’s only the lipsticks (not even talking lip stains, glosses, and matte lipsticks) you are bound to find the color you want and spend less that $15. You guys gotta check it out!!
Sephora :: $10.00
So those are my top 5 favorite products that I use everyday and I hope that you will give them a try. Tell me how you like them and let me know some of your favorite products as well!
Remember, It doesn’t hurt to enhance the beauty you already got!
