A week ago I returned from the French island of Martinique. It was six days of quiet, relaxation that so needed. My mom bought the tickets earlier this year for less than $200 each and months later we booked our stay at the Cap Est Lagoon Resort. The grounds were beautiful, just what you would expect from a 4 star Caribbean resort. The guest services were so accommodating, kind and went out their way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves.

Upon arrival we were upgraded to suite, complete with living quarters and a personal pool.. fancy lol

We visited St. Troix and St. Anna beaches, which were some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever visited.

It’s a different kind of life, still, calmer, slower. Not one I could live from day to dat but grateful to be able to escape to when needed.
