Up next, the kitchen. As a renter, theres not that much I can structurally change here. However, a beautiful kitchen doesn’t always have to include custom finishes or gut renovations. Small, but smart, changes can have a big impact on the space. I’m going to give the kitchen a refresh without giving it a full an overhaul.
I have to keep the cabinets as is but the appliances (courtesy of my landlord), hardware and plumbing fixtures are all changing. I’m going to heavily accessorize the upper cabinets to lessen the “builders grade” feel. I’m also going to carefully accessorize the counters as I need every item to make a impact but create a seamless look.
See my inspo, design boards, design plans and of course links for everything shown below!
P.S. as you can see my current kitchen is not light (aka white) and airy like my inspirations BUT if the lease if renewed next year a cabinet paint job will be next.
