We’re talking about interiors today and I know I’m supposed to be taking you on my “new place” design journey (which I started here and here). But that apartment unfortunately fell through due to unforeseen structural issues with the home. Anyway, I am still going to share my design board for the entryway because sharing is caring and both of the new places I’m looking at have true entryways. It’s a jump start for the next space.
Today, I’m sharing an apartment tour I spotted on domino. This apartment is my literal dreams guys. It’s so spot on to my taste that if I had the chance to design a blank space of my own it might look just like this, pending a couple changes. Designer Stacy Cohen had the task of maximizing storage in a small space of 550 sq. ft. without compromising the chic factor. To say she succeeded would be an understatement. There isn’t one part of this home that isn’t beautiful but also thoughtfully designed to serve purpose. The color palette is black and white which is perfect because it makes the space feel larger than it is. While the addition of moulding adds sophistication and character to uplift all the white surfaces. My favorite part of the space is the stairwell. The black sculpted iron, glass panels mixed with the brass knobs on the custom storage & gold framed on artwork was the perfect mix of modern and classic elements.
Check back next week for my entryway design board and inspiration and tell me your favorite part of the space in the comments!
