The week is almost over but I have a little bit of interior excitement to get us through this Friday… Pantone has revealed it’s color for 2014 and I have to say that it’s far from the grey cool tones that have been pretty prominent this past year.

I think it’s a beautiful, warm mixture of pink and purple. Whimsical yet sophisticated. Perfect as an accent color but also strong enough to build a room around it. The picture below is a great example of how the color can be used as a primary color of design and still yield a well balanced, sophisticated look.
