Nate Berkus is a designing genius. Ever since we saw him re-do a room on Oprah he’s taken the interior design world by storm, all while melting our hearts with his charming smile. I love his work but it’s never been something that I would want for myself. Domino Magazine (yeah it’s back and all is right with the world again) recently featured one of his latest deisgns and I am in love with all of it. I saw the apartment and thought to myself “This is what I want my grown-up home to look like”.
Nate Berkus and his fiance teamed up to “re-vamp” NYC hair stylists, Rita Hazan’s apartment and hit the design out the park. From the the demure color palliate of white and creams and the contrasting black walls and gold accents, the result was utter perfection. It’s modern sophistication as its finest. I am taking notes and incorporating aspects of this design in my next place for sure.
